Take walks one or two times a day. Walking, many say, is good for the working heart. Walking is actually the most convenient, practical and cheapest form of exercise that anybody, old and young, can do. It only takes a good location like a park and a not-so-busy road in your neighborhood for you to start your walk. Short distances to work, school, supermarket should be maximized for your walking exercises. All other forms of physical activities are also good for losing weight.

In losing weight, taking no food at all even for just a day is not healthy and good for the body. It may cause you sicknesses like ulcer. Ignoring your hunger sometimes can decrease of your body stamina. Many people who do not eat just for the sake of losing weight faster, may collapse and lose consciousness. Going on a diet never means skipping meals and doing away with hunger. It is better to eat often foods that have low calories.
